Now, if I could only get those pesky squirrels to stand still and pose properly instead of scampering off up the trees all the time – honestly, you’d think they didn’t want to be in my pics!
Congratulations on photographing the bluebells -- and I'm not being rude or sarcastic. It seems to be impossible to capture on camera the intense blue mist effect which one sees in a bluebell wood.
Thank you - this particular wood is chock full of them, so I didn't have to work too hard! There's just something about the colour of bluebells that I absolutely adore, and the woodland setting, plus the fact they're only there for a short while, almost hidden from the casual gaze, and then gone until next year, just add to it all.
i always think of them as a texas thing. i didn't realize they grew in the uk! this probably makes me sound really stupid.... and yes, they are quite lovely! bummer about the camera-shy squirrels, tho.
Heh, I have NO clue where else in the world gets bluebells. That sort of stuff can really trip you up when writing! :)
(There is still no excuse for the live-action 101 Dalmations having wild raccoons and skunks living in the UK, however. *glares in the film-makers' general direction*)
