Amber Quill & Lethe Press sales

As many of you will already know, Amber Quill Press is shutting down at the end of March. So this is just a quick reminder that if there are any Amber titles you’ve had your eye on, now is the time to grab a copy if you don’t want to wait an indefinite amount of time for a new edition.

There are a whole host of m/m books by top authors there, and they’ve got a site-wide sale on right now, so don’t miss out!

I’ve just got two titles with Amber myself:

Permanently Legless will be re-issued fairly soon by JMS Books, but I don’t have any firm plans for Sex, Lies and Edelweiss yet, so this will be your last chance to buy it for a while.

 

And while I’m on the subject, don’t forget Lethe Press is currently having a sale on e-books – ALL titles are at the ridiculously low price of $1.50 until the end of March. My e-reader thinks it’s Christmas!

Thanks for the tip. I went and grabbed some books.

I was totally shocked to get to the checkout and see that they were charging *SHIPPING* on ebooks. I ordered anyway because the price is still good, even after adding the "shipping" charges, but seriously? This is the first time I've ever run into a publisher who added fees onto ebook orders.

Lethe. It does look from their web site as if they've done some temporary retooling for this sale, so maybe it's an oversight or programming error, or a weird special case for the sale. I did leave a comment about it on my order form. If it stays, I will probably be more likely to shop them via Amazon rather than directly in the future.

I know, it's a pain, innit? But I thought people would want to know about the titles going out of print (not just mine!) as well as the sale.

Maybe Amazon will price-match?

It's worth checking out for the titles I agree but I doubt in this case Amazon would price match. I've already downloaded all my titles.
