Yup, it's London buses time again!

Suitably for Halloween, both are paranormal-themed:

Takenrevised Mine

My story in Mine (m/m anthology) is a light-hearted vampire tale:

Leeches and Layabouts
For a garlic farmer, getting turned into a vampire could be the worst thing that could happen. Then again, it might just open up some intriguing possibilities!

And in Taken (m/m/f anthology), we're away with the fairies:

Changeling
When did a young woman ever listen to her father warning her of the dangers of her young man? But Meg's got more reason than most to beware of the boy she's set her heart on, for Adam's a changeling, left by the fae in place of a human babe. What'll happen when he meets his kin - and the boy whose place he took?

I'll be posting excerpts of both of them on the Torquere Social LJ tomorrow! :D

I didn't know you'd gone with the garlic farming vampire! Hee! But the question is: does it contain a scene of tortoise-knapping?

And that one is possibly even better than these two, although it's a tough call... But were-tortoises really take some beating ;)

Congratulations! And I love the sound of "Changeling". I don't suppose it's possible to get your story without getting the whole anthology? (You should definitely think about bringing out a collection of your own short stories. I'd buy that like a shot.)

Thank you! It sounds lovely - you've definitely caught the fairy-tale feel with it.

I'd buy an anthology of yours, so there must be other people who would too :)

Actually, I second what Alex said. I want to read L&L, but to be honest I'm not all that interested in the whole anthology. I'm not a fan of vampire stories (I find them often very silly) but your story sounds great. I suppose I'll cave 'cos I want to read it, but I'd love an anthology of your short stories too!
