Third Man Out
Sep. 10th, 2010 11:38 pmI felt terribly decadent, watching TV during daylight hours, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching Third Man Out, the first of the Donald Strachey mysteries in TV movie form, this afternoon. It's very self-consciously noir-esque, but the relationship between Don and Timmy is just adorable!
Funny, though, how much Sebastian Spence (Timmy)'s portrayal of prissy!gay guy echoes countless US TV portrayals of prissy!British guys... (he was almost a dead ringer for Wesley Wyndham-Pryce in Buffy, f'rinstance). I kept expecting him to speak in a British public school accent! ;)
