State of the Merrow
Jun. 16th, 2009 02:51 pmHmm. I have been thinking lately how uncannily appropriate my scaly pseud is, as I flit from one writing project to another, displaying the attention span of an unusually hyperactive goldfish. On crack.
*pauses to gather courage*
I have, at present, the following WIPs on the go:
Camwolf (yep, still clinging feebly to life, that one)
Snared (werecat set in Scotland - the accents have been giving me gyp)
Feathers (weres in Berlin)
Angel (a demon story that seems to have ambitions way beyond its status)
Wishes (another demon story, the third in the Rael arc)
Wight nights (a ghost story presently lacking a ghost)
Plus one or two - okay, about a dozen - other things that I think it is probably safest to let rest in peace.
BUT: There is evidence that I can, actually, finish things, and it is coming sooner than you think...
I have a date for publication of a Torquere Sip, and it is 20th June.
Be afraid, very afraid.
I am.

Date: 2009-06-16 10:58 pm (UTC)Will love to hear what you think of my stories whenever you get a chance to tell me. But please, don't worry if it's too much to deal with!
Mmm, I have been backing everything up like whoah. I mean, if a comment to a journal goes tits up, I hate reconstructing, so the thought of having to re-write fics... *shudders*
Is your hard drive truly beyond redemption? I mean, all the stories you hear about how you can never truly erase stuff, Your Sins Will Find You Out, etc etc... maybe a computer-savvy friend could help? *has qualifications in straw-clutching*
Anyway, glad to see you back again! *hugs once more*

Date: 2009-06-17 11:57 am (UTC)More Raul! I still have the second one to read, but I'm not avoiding it because I don't want to, I'm saving it for when the husband is not around (most of the time) and the boy is not around (less) so I can enjoy it on my own :)
