This why artists are artists, and I am not one of their number. If anyone had said to me, "I'm going to make the faces look all blue," then I would have thought, WTF? But the end result is lovely! :)

I adore the warnings -- never have I been cautioned about a book that contains really awful sherry.

LOL! The sherry warning is based on absolute fact - when I was at college, I was one of the chaplain's standbys for pre-chapel drinks, where you'd get to meet visiting speakers while quaffing cut-price Amontillado. It's not often you get the chance to ask a bishop what he wears under his robes...

After 3 years of that, though, it was YEARS before I could face a glass of sherry again!

The cover artist is Valerie Tibbs, who's done covers for Ally Blue, KA Mitchell, Josh Lanyon and the latest ZA Maxfield. I think she has a wonderful eye for colour.

I do miss the architecture in Cambridge. I can remember cycling to lectures past all those beautiful buildings, thinking how lucky I was to be there!
