The Handsome Prince: a slightly belated release post!

Well, I had the release date down as 1st June, but The Handsome Prince is already available in paperback on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk

And with a cover like this, how can you resist?



Here's the blurb:

We all know the fairy tale. The handsome prince comes riding up on his white stallion and rescues the beautiful princess from her enchantment with a single kiss. Alas! I'm not sure if it'll be coming out in ebook - Cleis seem very fond of the old-fashioned paper stuff. They do have some books out in Kindle, though, so fingers crossed...

Mmm, I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that if it does come out in e-form, it'll be on Kindle only. :(

Honestly, I am this close to buying myself a Kindle for my birthday, despite the fact I have a perfectly good Sony!

Nope. Not going to do it. I've read some things that hint maybe Amazon is heading the epub way eventually.

How about the Nook store? I can grab epubs from the Nook store ok.

*grumble* I signed up to B&N just to buy this ebook and discovered that B&N ebooks are only available to purchasers physically in the US or Canada. They could have told me that before I entered my credit card details. >:( I'll wait to see if it becomes available as an ebook somewhere else. I hope so.

Did you know you can use Calibre free software to change Kindle files into other formats? That said, I am seriously considering buying a kindle as I want a more up to date ereader and they're looking great value for money. Only trouble is, do I want to contribute to Amazon's ever increasing market domination? Hmmmm....

Oh, I didn't know that about Kindle files! You know, I'm having exactly the same dilemma. I'm seriously considering treating myself to a new reader for my b'day, but I'm torn between the Kindle and the Sony pocket touchscreen reader - both have clearer text than my old Sony, and better features, but the Kindle annoys me for not having a touchscreen (and yes, for the whole Amazone global domination thing) and the Sony annoys me for not being as cheap as the Kindle!
