RNA Cambridge lunch

Just back from a lovely lunch with the RNA Cambridge Chapter (including the equally lovely Alex Beecroft) where fliers were handed around about the British Romance Festival in October (which, alas, I’m still not sure I’ll be able to get to).

Heh, I know what you mean. Sue Moorcroft I recognise, a friend of mine is a fan. And I think Kate Allen and Annie Burrows are Mills and Boon authors. But otherwise I'd be heading straight for "our" crew. :D Wish I could get to this one, but probably won't.

I'd like to try and make it for the Friday at least, but won't be able to say for definite until much nearer the time, unfortunately. :(

I'm only going to be there on the Saturday, and I think the same might be the case for Erastes and Charlie. It would be lovely to see you if you can make it, though :)

I'm hoping we get some good ideas for next year's Meet - even if only "what not to do"!

*g* I know a lot of them from other writing conferences/RNA stuff. But some of them are very well published indeed!

The brochure doesn't seem to single out M/M romance, either. That's great — that means it's just romance!

Absolutely - it's fantastic they're being so inclusive. :D

Of course, a lot (if not all) of the people involved are RNA members, and the RNA has been brilliant about treating LGBTQ romance the same as any other.

I'm still undecided about that conference. Shall see how much I need to fork out for the EMWA conference first.
